Remarks: This design is attributed to Henry C. Trost because of similarities to St. Joseph’s Sanatorium El Paso of 1906, and the Hotel Val Verde of 1918. Liddell was a pallbearer for Matilda Trost, sister of Henry C., Gustavus and Adolphus G. Trost.
Prepared for the El Paso Public Library by Lloyd C. and June F. Engelbrecht under a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities, 1990
