Remarks:
In 1930, architects Trost & Trost of El Paso were hired to designed a new Spanish style bank building to occupy the site of the old bank structure. R. McKee & Company served as the contractors.
The structure would have big double iron doors at the entrance to the vestibule, iron grills at the windows, front and side; tile base and coping, front and side, and stucco exterior finish. The interior would be all marble, with fixtures and devices for modern banking.
