Remarks: C. J. Mapel is listed as an El Paso residential client in an undated Trost & Trost notebook now in the collection of Trost family. Residential may also refer to apartments. A complete search of the El Paso City Directories has not been made. In1908-1910, Charles J. Mapel lived at 831 New Orleans; in 1915 and 1920 at 2631 New Orleans; in 1925 at 2631 Altura Avenue, all of which appear to be the same address. The current 2631 Altura does not appear to be a Trost & Trost design.
