Remarks: The following is typed on the back of the photograph: Two residences at/United States Detention Farm,/La Tuna, Texas/Trost & Trost, Architects/H. T. Ponsford & Sons, Contractors,/November 25, 1928. This implies that there were two identical homes. There are a number of homes of similar style in the compound. It is not known if the others were designed by Trost & Trost.
