Remarks: This is the first time that we see Henry in El Paso before he moves there in 1903. Also the first plans he submit for a building in El Paso.

H.C Trost of Tucson, L.M. Patterson of Indianapolis, and C.F. Whitlesey of Chicago also summit plans.  Though not definitely decided it is probable that the hotel will build on the old mission style with wide verandas and tile roof. The hotel will contain one hundred rooms, six of which will be large store rooms.

The building was built to add an additional two stories at a later date.
